Guest lecture on the topic

20 Mar 2026

On March 19, 2026, students and faculty of the Odesa Institute of IAPM took part in an informative and inspiring guest lecture entitled “Projective Methods in Psychotherapy.”

The speaker of the event was Yuliia Oleksandrivna Asieieva, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, and practicing psychotherapist. During the lecture, participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the theoretical foundations of psychotherapy, become acquainted with the classification of its approaches, and explore both classical concepts and modern practical methods of psychological work.

Particular interest was aroused by the presentation of the speaker’s original developments, in particular the “Language” method, which she successfully applies in her professional practice.

The practical part of the event included the use of metaphorical associative cards. Participants completed the exercise “Who am I today?”, which enabled them to better understand their emotional states through imagery, and also took part in a group mini-session conducted in an atmosphere of trust, openness, and support.

The administration of the Odesa Institute of IAPM and the Head of the Department of General Scientific, Social and Behavioral Disciplines, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor Alla Nerubasska, express their sincere gratitude to Yuliia Oleksandrivna Asieieva for delivering the lecture, engaging professional communication, and sharing valuable experience with students. Special thanks are extended to the institute’s staff for organizing and conducting the event.

We look forward to further fruitful cooperation and the implementation of new joint educational and scientific projects.
