Conducting a round table on the topic "Motivation of students to study"

On September 20, 2024, the department of general scientific, social and behavioral disciplines under the leadership of the head of the department of philosophy, associate professor Alla Nerubasskaya held the first meeting of the round table on the topic "Motivation of students to study", which was held in a mixed format, at the Odessa Institute of the MAUP on September 20, 2024.
Senior teacher of the department Anastasia Kuznetsova presented the report "Motivation for study and professional development of psychologist students", Alla Nerubasska added reporting information about the activities of the Student Scientific Club "Psychologist", which is one of the ways to motivate first-year students not only to study, but also to master the profession. Elizaveta Shelepun - a 4th year student majoring in Psychology, during the topic of motivation revealed the "Problem of student demotivation in the educational process", gave practical advice that can be applied to everyone. Alina Palade - a 4th-year student majoring in Psychology under the supervision of Associate Professor Maryna Kryukova, Doctor of Psychology, prepared a study on the topic "Motivation of students to study during the war", where they talked about the systems of overloading students during the war in Ukraine. Diana Sysoeva, a 1st-year student, provided the results of a student survey and analyzed the data, based on which she came to the conclusion that work on student motivation and adaptation is necessary for the effectiveness of education.
At the end of the event, a lively discussion took place around the outlined topic, and the teachers wished the students success, inspiration and an interesting life within the walls of the Odesa Institute of MAUP.
