On March 13, 2025, a presentation-report on the topic "Cross-cultural psychology" was held in the walls of the Odesa Institute of the MAUP, which was conducted by Daria Orlova-Sakivska, a 1st-year student majoring in Psychology.
The event brought together students of various courses and levels who are interested in a deeper understanding of cross-cultural aspects of psychology.
During the report, such important issues as the connection of cross-cultural psychology with ethnopsychology, its difference, the field of practical application, as well as the most common myths that exist around this discipline were considered. In addition to the theoretical part, the participants had the opportunity to perform practical exercises that helped to better understand the impact of cultural differences on people's thinking and behavior.
The event took place in a warm atmosphere, students actively participated in discussions and shared their own experiences. The presentation was a great opportunity to expand one's outlook and deepen one's knowledge in the field of psychology.
We express our gratitude to Daria Orlova-Sakivska for an interesting and informative report and hope for further meetings to discuss current topics in psychological science.
See you again in the walls of MAUP!
