Psychology students took part in Student Studios

On October 23, 2024, students of the Odesa MAUP Institute majoring in Psychology, as part of the study of the discipline "Introduction to the specialty "Psychology", took part in the Student Studios "Workshop of the Future Specialist".
Student studios organized by the Odesa Regional Resource Center for Support of Inclusive Education KZVO "Odesa Academy of Continuing Education of the Odesa Regional Council", in the work of which topical issues of the development of inclusive education were raised.
During the meeting with the specialists of OORTCPIO, the students got acquainted with the institution of the center, activities and priority areas of work.
The head of the OORCPIO, Olena Balbuza, spoke in detail about the specifics of comprehensive diagnostics for children with special educational needs, as well as the selection of diagnostic tools to assess the individual characteristics of the child and emphasized the importance of choosing diagnostic tools.
Iryna Shtegeran, a methodologist at the OORCPIO, shared her experience as a speech therapist working with children with ASD, demonstrated methods that provide effective corrective work, and also presented tools for applied improvisation and theatrical drama. These approaches help to improve well-being, create a pleasant environment and establish positive relationships.
The participants of the event noted the importance of such meetings for obtaining theoretical information and practical experience in future professional activities.
