Participation in the All-Ukrainian Webinar "Academic Integrity as the Foundation of Quality Education"

On November 24, 2025, representatives of the Odesa Institute of MAUP took part in the All-Ukrainian webinar "Academic Integrity as the Foundation of Quality Education".
The event was organized by Odesa National University named after I.I. Mechnikova, the Ukrainian Office of Research Integrity (UkrRIO) and the All-Ukrainian NGO "Innovation University" (Odesa branch).
The webinar was opened by the rector of ONU named after I.I. Mechnikova Vyacheslav Truba, emphasizing the importance of academic integrity as the basis of quality education and an integral component of the modern scientific environment. He wished the participants productive work, meaningful discussions and practical benefit from the event.
The webinar included expert speeches by leading scientists who shared modern approaches to ensuring integrity, plagiarism prevention practices, academic culture assessment tools, and the experience of European universities.
Participants had the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers, initiate discussions and receive thorough answers about real challenges in the field of academic integrity — from ensuring transparency in the educational process to building an effective internal quality control system.
The purpose of the webinar is to popularize the principles of academic integrity, to form a culture of responsible scientific community and to promote the improvement of education standards in higher education institutions of Ukraine.
