Pedagogical Council
The Pedagogical Council of the Professional College at the Odesa Institute of PJSC “Higher Education Institution ‘Interregional Academy of Personnel Management’” is a collegial governing body of the professional pre-higher education institution operating in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Professional Pre-Higher Education”, the Law of Ukraine “On Education”, the Charter of the educational institution, and the Regulations on the Pedagogical Council.
The Pedagogical Council is established to ensure the quality of educational activities, to adopt decisions on key issues related to the organization of the educational process, and to support the strategic development of the College.

Composition of the Pedagogical Council
The Pedagogical Council includes:
the Director of the College;
Heads of Subject Area (Cycle) Commissions;
teaching staff of the College;
other employees involved in ensuring the educational process;
representatives of student self-government bodies (in accordance with legislation and internal regulations).

The personal composition of the Pedagogical Council is approved by an order of the Director of the College.

Chair of the Pedagogical Council
In accordance with the legislation of Ukraine, the Pedagogical Council is chaired by the Director of the College.

The Chair of the Pedagogical Council:
organizes its activities;
convenes and conducts meetings;
sets the agenda;
ensures the implementation of decisions adopted by the Council;
monitors the execution of adopted decisions.

Powers of the Pedagogical Council

The Pedagogical Council:
determines the strategy and main directions of the College’s educational activities;
considers issues related to ensuring the quality of the educational process;
adopts decisions regarding the organization of the educational process;
approves educational and professional programs and study plans (within its competence);
considers matters related to the attestation (certification) of teaching staff;
makes decisions on other issues assigned to its competence by legislation and internal regulations.

Organization of Work
The Pedagogical Council operates in accordance with the annual work plan of the College.
Meetings are held as frequently as determined by the internal Regulations. Decisions are adopted by open voting with a majority of votes of the members present and are recorded in official minutes.
Decisions of the Pedagogical Council are binding upon all participants in the educational process within the scope of their authority.
