The issue of C4 Psychology is the department of general scientific, social and behavioral disciplines.

The educational program of specialty C4 Psychology is aimed at training highly qualified specialists in the field of social and behavioral sciences. It is focused on the comprehensive development of future psychologists in personal, professional and social dimensions, providing a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

The purpose of the program:

Formation of fundamental and applied competences required for:
-professional activity in the conditions of the modern socio -cultural environment;
-successful integration into the national and international labor market;
-non -renewal of knowledge and development of professional mobility;
-The education at the second (master's) and third (doctoral) levels.

Graduates of the specialty "Psychology" are able to carry out:
-scientific-research activity-conducting empirical and theoretical psychological research;
-psycho-diagnostic activity-identification of individual and psychological characteristics of personality and groups;
-advisory and psycho -corrective activity -providing psychological assistance, development and implementation of psycho -corrective programs;
-managerial and organizational activities-participation in the work of interdisciplinary teams in educational, health care institutions, social services, law enforcement agencies and business organizations.

Social mission of the profession:
Psychologists are intermediaries in the interaction of personality, family and society, contribute to the harmonization of interpersonal relationships, support of social initiatives, development of psycho -hygienic and psychoprophylactic measures aimed at optimizing the conditions of education, upbringing and professional activity of man.

Higher education applicants of the first (bachelor's) level receive a bachelor's degree in psychology. 
The term of study is 4 years by full -time and correspondence forms of study.
Higher education applicants of the second (master's) level receive a master's degree in psychology. 
The term of study is 1 year 6 m (according to the corresponding basic education) and 2 years (by unrelated basic education) by full -time and part -time forms of study.
